I went to school for a year as an art major and hated it. I joked that I went into Computer Science instead because “I would rather be a fat capitalist than a starving artist”. The reality is that art school really messed with my head. My professional career has been centered around software development and then software sales & marketing, business development, and now I provide fractional sales leadership to other companies.
While I dabbled with drawing over the years and did some graphic design, I didn’t get back into creating fine art until 2014 after our 25th wedding anniversary trip to Italy. Since then, we’ve bought a holiday home in my wife’s family’s ancestral village, and I’ve done several works that are on display over there. After selling and promoting a few original pieces, I started picking up commissions, so I created an informational website. Last year, I added a full online store to sell high quality prints and merchandise of my works

Locally, besides Studio B, I am a member at Berks Art Alliance and Perkiomen Valley Art Center. I’ve exhibited at the West Reading Arts on the Avenue and Fall Festival events the last two years, and will do the same this year. I sell prints and merchandise online and at several local artisan and crafter stores.
I volunteer time for business development with Colebrookdale Railroad as well. My wife and I also volunteer with a local cat rescue (One By One) and we take care of her 81-year-old mother with end stage Parkinson’s Disease … so we are literally all over the place!
