For Pennsylvania artist Rhonda Counts, images in nature are the source of inspiration for her paintings. Laying color over texture is a technique she enjoys, and a close view of her paintings may reveal “impressions” she creates using natural elements.
“I create my textured canves and then I paint,” she says.
Following a 30 year career as an art director at Walt Disney World, Rhonda – now a retired “Disney Imagineer” – paints professionally and resides in Fleetwood. Her work is in private collections in the United States and abroad.
