Studio B Fine Art Gallery, 39A East Philadelphia Avenue in Boyertown, PA, announces a $2,500 donation from the James K. and Nancy Lang Boyer Family Fund of Berks County Community Foundation.
“The Boyer family have been on-going supporters from ‘Day 1’ for the mission and efforts of Studio B,” noted Jane Stahl, Studio B Fine Art Gallery’s Director of Community Relations. “Nancy (Boyer) was fondly named ‘The First Lady of Boyertown’; she loved the community, and we loved her,” Stahl continued. “We miss her smile and her gentle humor.” Boyer passed in 2020 at 94 years.
“Even after her move from Boyertown, in her later years, she remembered us; I believe that her donation represents her belief in our mission and her desire to see us continue to promote local artists and provide opportunities for members of her beloved Boyertown community to participate in the arts and enjoy one another’s company,” Stahl added.
Studio B Fine Art Gallery is in its 14th year of operation. Throughout its history the studio has mounted over 150 exhibits and has served hundreds of artists and students since its premiere exhibit in December 2008.
Donations to Studio B are tax deductible; Studio B is the home of the Arts and Activities Alliance, a committee of Building a Better Boyertown, a 501c3 organization.
