I create first and foremost to remain sane. Okay, that sounds a little scary. But I do find that creating helps to ground me and helps me to find meaning when the world may appear to be meaningless. Beauty in all its forms has always called to me. I have explored many kinds of creativity in my life. I had a brief love affair with hand weaving. Then a long fifteen year relationship with lampwork glass bead making and jewelry making. When that became too physically demanding, I turned to writing. Always a fan of science fiction and fantasy, I wrote a science fiction novel (number two on the way soon). My latest excursion is into painting with acrylics. I am fairly new to this pursuit so I foresee a long and challenging journey before me. I have always felt that the circle of creating is not truly complete if I don’t share my work with others. I am so honored to be a part of Studio B and grateful for the opportunity to share my work.
