I approach my work similar to the Surrealists, ”psychic automatic”, with a touch of the Spirit of Abstract Expressionism.
Nature provides the inspiration and colors; I provide the metamorphosis in the execution of the “images.” It’s a spontaneous process, accessing the subconscious.
I currently reside in Reading, PA, and have memberships at the Berks Art Alliance and Studio B Fine Art Gallery. I’ve been the Mentoring and the Arts Program (M.A.P.) artist since 1998 for the Olivet Boys and Girls Club of Greater Reading and Berks County.
I attended the Ivy School of Professional Art in Pittsburgh PA 1969-1971.
